This tutorial shows you how to configure Outlook check email automatically every 10 minutes.
In Microsoft Outlook, go to Tools -> Send/Receive -> Send/Receive Settings.
Select option Define Send/Receive Group will bring up a window allowing you to enable Schedule an automatic Send/Receive.
Default automatic email send/receive period is 30 minutes.
You should not configure email checking less than every 10 minutes.
You may be blocked temporarily for 60 minutes when creating too many connections to mail server in an hour.
